Brandon Polack

Curious to discover what else existed beyond the college classroom walls, Brandon founded Off THA Couch (Touching Higher Atmospheres), an initiative to discover and inspire how to live a more meaningful life. A successful crowdfunding campaign propelled him and 4 fellow students across the country in search of success stories for the vision of OTC. This project would provide a baseline for Brandon’s beliefs that we are capable of so much more than we think and that there are endless opportunities for growth if we just know where to look and aren’t afraid to engage. He would then spend a summer with Future Partners learning how to Think Wrong, a design thinking strategy for solving problems both big and small by pulling inspiration from the unlikeliest of places. This would lead to facilitating design and prototyping workshops to unlock peoples’ creativity.

In late 2016, Brandon lived and captured stories at Kalu Yala, a growing sustainable village in the Panamanian Jungle, and shortly after to Ghana to discover the origins of rhythm and its teachings for modern health and wellness. He is now transitioning to a new phase of creative growth by developing an art and design practice that challenges the status quo to open a collective conscious dialogue in experiential ways.
